Foreclosure
home just payed off. but...now thinking of selling?
I just payed off my mothers home which I am living in, she passed away last year, her name is on the
loan my name is not my name is only on the title. But, now I am thnking that perhaps I jumped the
gun too quickly, and should not have payed it off, because now I am thinking I should have just let the house go to go foreclosure, since my name was not on the loan, but it was my mothers house and I didnt want to do that-just let it go-she worked so hard for this house. Now I am thinking that perhaps
I can sell it, but with this housing market in (Vegas), I dont know, but it is picking up. I am concerned though that if the house does sell, can anyone tell me how long it will take and also how long as the seller
will I have to find another place before the buyers take it over, can I stipulate the time needed say three months? or how would all this work? also I have two dogs, and I dont want people coming to see the house when Im not home, can I tell the agent only on weekends (cause my dogs are scared of strangers and I know they would bark at strangers in the house if I wasnt there)...Anyone can help?
advice? thanx?

I quit claimed the house and why am I now am receiving letters from an attorney @ foreclosure procedings.?
During our divorce I quit claimed the property to my ex @ 7 years ago after he refinanced (in his name only) for the last 2-3 years I have been receiving letter sregarding foreclosure procedings on his house. Why are they sending me notifications? My credit report has nothing on it regarding this or anything related to that property.
i called the attorney and am in the process of writing them, I check my credit report @ 5-6 times per year and nothing has ever shown up that has to do with collections or mortgages (I have none on my own) so I am thinking it is just a CYA move on their part but will send them a letter anyway.

what to do about a realtor?
Im trying to buy a home that is getting ready to go into foreclosure. The owner has it listed under a realtor, I agreed to rent to own the house until my home is sold, and pay that morgage on the other property to keep it from going into forclosure. the realtor failed to get the paperwork to us on time, it was due by nov 1 of last yeat. that time past and the owner and i sighned a written agreement between us that i would pay the payment till my house sold and keep that one from going into foreclosure, the realtor did not contact us for over 3 months with any kind of contract to be signed . (was suppose to have a lawyer draw up paperwork for rent to own agreement before foreclosureand i would pay down payment to bank to keep out of foreclosure and would the amount would come off final price off the house , but, no contact from here for over 3 months ) know she is wanted to give me 30 days to go to closing,or the house goes back on the market. and my house hasnt been sold and ive still been making payments on the other res as well . i have the contract with the owner and nothing with the realtor,
